Many info are loaded there and visit Mr Leo's SlideShare to revise on the tested topics @ www.slideshare.net/donaldleo/slideshows. Read through the textbook thorughly for Chp 3, 6, 9. F0rmat: MCQ - From Chp 1 to 9; SBQ and SEQ: Chp 3, 6, 9 (IMPORTANT CHAPTERS)
English Paper 1: Read through model composition books if you have any or go to the e-composition on the LMS. Remember the 5 sections of a Narrative Essay and a twist at the end would be good. Practice hard on grammer and vocabulary skills. Brush up on EDITING! F0rmat: 3-4 Choices of compo, choose 1.
Literature: Here's a website that might help:http://www.sparknotes.com/shakespeare/macbeth/. Read through the 5 tested scenes in detail, ie ANALYSE! Analyse the set poem: FESTIVAL by Kenneth Wee. If you misplaced it, go to this website:http://vaguely-understated.blogspot.com/2007/12/mini-poetry-lesson-2.html. Prepare for the surprise poem. Recall the literary devices and all those stuff! Remember the P. E. E format! F0rmat: Passage Based Qns (Macbeth Act 1.1, 1.4, 2.1 & 2.2, 2.3 and 3.4), Essay Qns (Macbeth too), 1 set poem (Kenneth Wee's Festival), 1 unseen poem

Practice is the way to ace Math + understanding all the formulas... from 4 pi r squared to pi r l... You can redo the workbook qns... that'll help a lot! English Paper 2: READ AND ANALYSE! Comprehension answering tactics... must know... like quoting etc. and vocabulary... answer according to the text by substituting the answer in the text to see if it fits. Summary skills... find the points, paraphrase the points by UYOW. Refer to the papers and notes for more info, which reminds me... REMEMBER TO GET THE SUMMARY ANSWERS FROM JIA LOK! F0rmat: Comprehension Qns, Vocabulary Qns, Summary.
Science: Read up on the notes given + textbook and practice on your assessment book, if any. Remember and understand the chapters and definition and you'll be fine... ... F0rmat: Biology- Tpt in Living Things, Osmosis and diffusion, Sexual reproduction in humans, Issue on sex; Physics- Light [Refraction, Reflection, Colours, Filter], Moments of force MCQs, Short Answered Qns and Long Qns
Mother Tongue: Higher Chinese 高级华文 Paper 1 and Paper 2 读词语~对前面那些题目有帮助！理解问答：练习... ... 片段缩写：练习，看老师所给的笔记。记得要找出篇章的重点再找每一段落的重点，再做修改。记得数字！！！理解问答要了解文章，找出重点再作答。公函/私函：记住格式，根据题目/题目重点写作。多记住格式，读多点作文范文。作文：多读范文，记得什么该写，什么不该写。比如议论文与记叙文以及情景作文的差别。 F0rmat P1:作文：议论文/情景作文/记叙文，选一个；公函/私函，选一个 F0rmat P2:选择词语，造句，综合填空，阅读理解一（两篇），阅读理解二（两篇），片段缩写。 第一到五；七；十一到十三；十六课。

Are you sure the class is well??? From what i see and hear I think you guys are slacking and not up to standards.. this year itself i think i at least told 10x to pple in 2c to tuck in their shirts!!! Sigh.. ifyou ask me... I think you guys are not on par with what you were last year.. which is really disappointing. Last year you were among the best class.. if not 1st.. you are 2nd and every teacher sang praises of you guys.. this year i hear nothing but complaints.. and why in the world are there pple from 2c sitting outside the DM office.. so shameful!!!The effort is not there at all.. for goodness sake.. tell the boys to buck up and wake up cos if you are like this in 2008.. you'll up the mark in 2009 as super slackers.. trust me. You need more than just motivation peeps!!!by sec 4 you'll need what i call a MIRACLE! ;( I think i sound really mean here.. but not in the name of putting you pple down.. seriously, what are you guys thinking? Last year.. i saw pple gathering in groups to positively challenge one another academically.. this year i am looking at pple forming cliques to be 'CRAP'!! Please remember to bring your health booklet tomorrow n PE uniform for the Health check on Monday. Remember to study for the Maths test tomorrow on Chapters 3 and 4 too. For more information, check the previous post.
Others: Prepare your OPWS final product! We are already many weeks behind time and Mr Leo had already extend the dateline till last Thursday.
Do your DNT project too... deadline extended to 2 weeks more. But in the 2 weeks, you can only use the DNT room on monday DURING D and T Lessons Literature Dramatisation most likely groups 3, 4 and 5 to present, so be prepared. Remember that for groups who did not present last thursday are going to be marked more strictly.
So that's all. Remember to study hard for SA1 coming up May 2. Check the VS website for more information on the exam schedule and what to revise. GOOD LUCK to 2C.
